‘Innocent’ Man Stabbed ‘Ten Times’ in Ealing

Two vicious criminals attacked a man in Ealing, stabbing him ten times from behind for no apparent reason and leaving him in hospital, police said.

On Friday September 25 around 8.30pm a 51-year-old man was walking along Windmill Lane when he was stabbed multiple times by two men.

Investigating officer DC Talat Taj said: “This appears to be a motiveless, unprovoked attack on an innocent man.”

He was rushed to hospital and is now in a stable condition after undergoing surgery.

DC Taj added: “The nature of the assault could have resulted in a far more serious outcome so these men have to be caught as a matter of urgency.”

Ealing CID are now appealing for witnesses to the attack to come forward.

They describe their first suspect as black, 5ft 11ins tall, 18 to 20 years old and of medium build. They say their second suspect is described as of Arabic or Indian appearance, 5ft 9ins tall, also 18 to 20 years old and of slim build.

On the day, both suspects were wearing dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and hoodies.
