WOW! 25p Store In London!

London now has a supermarket where EVERYTHING costs 25p

EasyJet’s founder is trying to undercut even Aldi and Lidl by opening his first easyFoodstore, where every item costs a mere 25p, in north London. It’s bargain time Londoners!

The pilot supermarket opened yesterday in Park Royal and by closing time one family had reportedly managed to buy £27 worth of 25p goods. The store boasts basic back-of-your-cupboard staples ranging from tea and ginger nuts to sardines and chickpeas. But don’t head here for your five a day, as there is currently no fruit or veg in stock. Supermarkets on either end of the price spectrum (so Waitrose and Aldi) are currently doing better than the big four

The new enterprise, headed up by EasyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, sports the slogan: “No expensive brands. Just food honestly priced.” Sounds about right to us. Will you be heading to north London to fill a basket?
