A NEW York teenager has been accepted by all eight Ivy League universities - and now must make the nail-biting decision on just where she wants to go.

Elmont Memorial High School valedictorian Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna has until May 1 to choose if she’ll attend an Ivy - or head to another uni.

“It’s very surreal,” said Augusta, 17, from Long Island. “It was my dream to get into one of the schools. To get into all eight of them is crazy.”

The 17-year-old hit the Ivy jackpot, accepted to Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, Yale and the University of Pennsylvania.

She was also accepted to Johns Hopkins University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and New York University.

Augusta said there are no secrets or shortcuts for academic success - only hard work will help one rise to the top.

“I think the main thing that has shaped me into the individual I am now is just tenacity and persistence,” she said.

Augusta is the daughter of Nigerian immigrants who instilled in her self confidence, humility and a respect for education.

“Though I was born here in American, I visited Nigeria many times,” she said. “And I’ve seen that my cousins don’t have the same opportunities that I have. So definitely, whatever I do, I want to make sure that it has an impact on Nigeria.”

The teen has until May 1 to decide whether she’ll attend one of the Ivies — or go to another institution.

This is the second time an Elmont student was accepted to all eight Ivies, with Harold Ekeh ultimately selecting Yale last year.
