GFTG BEST TIPS FOR FAIRVIEW

Best tips and value tips for racing from Fairview on Friday 22nd June with selections provided by Winning Form as well as their back page tipster, Magic Tips.

Winning Form Best Bets
Race 1: KLEVER KATHY(3)
Race 2: BORN A BULLY(2)
Race 5: THE GOWN(8)
Race 6: DESERT WISDOM(2))

Magic Tips Best Bets
Race 1: KLEVER KATHY(3)
Jockey: M Yeni - Trainer: G Smith

The smart filly KLEVER KATHY has continued to progress and she went close in a feature seven furlong feature despite reported to be not striding out. It is slightly concerning that she races a mere two weeks later but the runner-up March Music slammed her maiden rivals subsequently and this daughter of Bold Silvano will be even better over today's sprint trip.

TOP BET
Race 2: CATCHTHEMASTER(4)
Jockey: C MURRAY - Trainer: T LAING

The maiden CATCHTHEMASTER had an eye-catching debut over this c & d two weeks ago as he ran on well for 3rd despite suffering a bump at a crucial stage. Of course he takes on stronger rivals now but would have come on appreciably from the experience and should make natural progress.

Race 3: SILVER SPUR(1)
Jockey: C MURRAY - Trainer: T LAING

The former Cape resident SILVER SPUR clearly failed to stay the test of stamina in the 'Mother City' last time but he had some fair prior performances over shorter which will definitely bring him into a contest of this nature. He is drawn best of all and has joined a top local outfit but it will be interesting to see how he handles the right hand turn.

Race 4: CHINCHILLA(10)
Jockey: G CHEYNE - Trainer: A GREEFF

CHINCHILLA had an eye-catching first run in this province on the polytrack last Friday when she ran on smartly for a close 3rd over five furlongs in mixed company. Admittedly, that was in an ordinary field but the well-related daughter of Dynasty was returning from a 21 week absence so she will strip fitter and is bred to love this extra two furlongs. She should raise her game against today's stronger opposition and will certainly enjoy the switch to this galloping track.

VALUE BET
Race 5: THE GOWN(8)
Jockey: R MUNGER - Trainer: S KOTZEN

The filly THE GOWN stays well and she bounced back to best with a strong finish over ten furlongs on this course recently despite racing wide. She handled facing male rivals three runs back and is a definite contender over this marathon distance.
