GFTG BEST TIPS FOR FLAMINGO PARK SOUTH AFRICA

Best bets and value tips for racing from Flamingo Park on Monday 16th July with selections provided by Winning Form as well as their back page tipster, Magic Tips.

Winning Form Best Bets
Race 1: SWEET EMOTION(12)
Race 2: SAVAGE GARDEN(2)
Race 3: ADI SPEED(11)
Race 6: SEATTLE WONDER(3)
Magic Tips Best Bets
Race 6: TOWN FLYER(7)
Jockey: J PENNY - Trainer: J RUGG

TOWN FLYER also has much to find on his low mark but the four-year old has a handy galloping mass and his much improved last outing indicated that he could enjoy this test of stamina.
Race 7: SPEED MONITOR(1)
Jockey: M YENI - Trainer: C LENSLEY

The in-form gelding SPEED MONITOR was handed a thrashing at a higher level recently but of course he won three of his four prior starts and should again be a massive contender at this level. He is well drawn at gate 2.
Race 8: SWEET PLEASURES(2)
Jockey: M YENI - Trainer: D CASON

SWEET PLEASURES has a really smart track record though all six of those efforts came over this minimum distance. She is yet to place over this extra furlong but the manner in which the imported bay finish- ed her last two starts indicates that she can improve on that record on this surface. Of course she drops in class after a creditable last run at pinnacle level.

TOP BET
Race 3: ALPHAMIKEFOXTROT(1)
Jockey: H v/d HOVEN - Trainer: C BINDA

The Gauteng visitor ALPHAMIKEFOXTROT handled the turn well in his improved last showing on the Highveld. He will benefit greatly from pole position on his track and provincial debut but the slight worry is that he seems to prefer the minimum distance. There are some competitive locals who could also make things really interesting.
VALUE BET
Race 5: RAZZLE MY TAZZLE(2)
Jockey: W MARWING - Trainer: G THERON

RAZZLE MY TAZZLE has rather surprisingly escaped without penalties for her smart last runs including when she finished runner-up behind male rivals over this c & d in her penltimate showing. Of course she may find it much trickier without a 4kgs apprentice allowance today but the bay mare is facing her own sex from a good draw.
