Magic Tips Best Bets
Race 3: LADY BOK(6)
Jockey: W Marwing - Trainer: G Theron

LADY BOK took a long time to shed her maiden tag but she surprised with an impressive start to finish triumph over a similar distance on her handicap debut a fortnight ago. She was deservedly upped a hefty nine pounds for her exertions but faces a slightly weaker field from a midfield barrier and can complete the hat-trick.

Race 5: PULCHERIA(6)
Jockey: J Greyling - Trainer: T Spies

The improving three-year old PULCHERIA is unbeaten from two attempts in this province and of course she triumphed in mixed company in the Nursery over this c & d two weeks ago. She takes on hard knocking older rivals on her handicap debut today but is certainly a progressive daughter of Where's That Tiger and pole position is a major plus.

Jockey: M Mjoka - Trainer: L Human

The in-form lightweight WARRIOR'S STONE has thrived on this surface in recent starts with his best effort coming when he was pipped by TOWN FLYER (1kg worse off) over this c & d three weeks ago. Of course the pair take on considerably stronger opposition in this Non-Black type affair on unfavourable weight terms but the low mass of the top selection certainly brings him into the reckoning. Morever, he will be racing fit after his solid last effort on Monday.
Race 8: MODJADJI(7)
Jockey: M V.Rensburg - Trainer: D Cason

The gallant six-year old mare MODJADJI loves her travelling & she has continued her highly successful form in the Northern Cape and in the stronger centre of the Highveld. She faces a stiff test in this minor feature but is 2kgs better off with the speedy ROCK A BYE BABY for a neck defeat suffered over this c & d early last month.

Race 9: HOUSE HUNTER(11)
Jockey: N Patel - Trainer: J RUGG

This is a highly competitive final event on the card where a genuine case can be made for more than half the field. HOUSE HUNTER will strip fitter after his exciting comeback run over nine furlongs on Monday but he does meet considerably stronger opposition.
