Race 4: SOUL OF WIT(12)
Race 6: DAN THE LAD(11)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 3: LORD GRANTHAM(10)
Jockey: R Simons - Trainer: G Maroun

LORD GRANTHAM is well-related and he caught the eye on debut in a competitive line-up last month. Of course he races up the straight today but would have come on appreciably from the experience and should make natural improvement.

TOP BET
Race 4: PACHANGA(1)
Jockey: R Munger - Trainer: A Fortune

PACHANGA has ultra-consistent form though she has become costly to follow in recent starts. That said, the natural frontrunner should enjoy racing without blinkers today and she could benefit from a soft lead. Of course she finished runner-up in both her c & d runs.

Race 9: WOTTAHOTTIE(9)
Jockey: K De Melo - Trainer: S Ferreira

The veteran campaigner WOTTAHOTTIE just failed to see out the mile in a similar handicap a week ago but the versatile chestnut will prefer this drop in distance and he holds strong claims.

Race 10: LAZARUS TREE(2)
Jockey: K De Melo - Trainer: F Habib

The recently turned three-year old LAZARUS TREE has a huge reputation and his facile maiden triumph over this c & d at just the third attempt showed exactly why. Of course he takes a steep rise in class on his handicap debut and he shoulders a massive weight but the fast improving son of Horse Chestnut still has much progress to come.

VALUE BET (EACH WAY) FOR TODAY:
Race 7: SUCHA CHARMER(8)
Jockey: K Zechner - Trainer - N Houdalakis

This is a tricky low-key handicap over ten furlongs as all but one of the nine entrants prefer a decent tempo and hopefully jockey Zechner realizes this, as he partners the rank outsider and natural frontrunner, SUCHA CHARMER. The chestnut has slid in the ratings in recent starts after some moderate performances but he could certainly enjoy the run of the race here and take full advantage of his low mass of just 52.5kgs.
