GFTG BEST TIPS FOR VAAL

Winning Form Best Bets
Race 1: GREENER PASTURES(11)Race 4: ROCK A ROLL DANCER(6)
Race 6: STRAWBERRY PAVLOVA(5)
Race 7: ELECTROMAGNETIC(1)

Magic Tips Best Bets
Race 4: ROCK A ROLL DANCE(6)
Jockey: M V.Rensburg - Trainer: S Pettigrew

ROCK A ROLL DANCER finished runner-up in her two promising outings to date but she again met a quality newcomer second time out. That said, she was returning from a ten week absence and still finished comfortably ahead of the next placed entrant Greener Pastures (runs in race 1). She is the clear first pick of the raced contingent but may have to worry about the first timers yet again.

Race 5: BIEN VENUE(4)
Jockey: S Khumalo - Trainer: S Tarry

The promising three-year old BIEN VENUE showed his quality with creditable back-to-back performances behind subsequent Grade 1 winner Soqrat last season and he would have strengthened during the 11 week rest. The chestnut colt is best-weighted on his seasonal debut in this assessment plate and he should go very well.

TOP BET
Race 7: ELECTROMAGNETIC(1)
Jockey: S Khumalo - Trainer: S Tarry

ELECTROMAGNETIC continues to improve with blinkers and the Tarry inmate acquitted himself well when a close 3rd behind winners late last campaign. The 4th placed entrant Affranchi boosted that formline with a game subsequent triumph and of course this chestnut gelding drops to maiden company today.

Race 8: NOBLE PRINCESS(5)
Jockey: R Simons - Trainer: M De Kock

NOBLE PRINCESS was expectedly green when strongly fancied to win her promising debut over this trip at Turffontein a fortnight ago. The well-bred bay narrowly failed at the wire but would have come on immensely from the experience and the half-sister to Noble Secret could prove to be way above-average.

VALUE BET (EACH WAY) FOR TODAY:
Race 3: HARTLEYFOUR(3)
Jockey: M V.Rensburg - Trainer - R Magner

The Dewali formline should hold up well in this big field where HARTLEYFOUR quickly improved on his disappointing penultimate display. He ran on for a well beaten 4th behind his easy winning conqueror that day & was crucially just three lengths adrift of the runner-up. Of course the 3rd placed entrant Tudor Manor boosted that formline with a smart victory ten days later.
