11:05 - Roodepoort Rotary Anns Maiden Plate

After disappointing NUNTIUS ORATORION was rested and gelded. He has ability and could strike if puts it in. FRIEND OF TIME was friendless in the betting on debut but wasn't disgraced. The extra should suit. THE BOSBOK comes from franked form and must be respected. RESCUE found no support on debut and will come on. ALPHAMIKEFOXTROT and PELICAN BAY could make the frame.

Watch out for: FRIEND OF TIME (5)

11:40 - Roodepoort Rotary Club Novice Plate (3-Year-Old Fillies)

CRIMSON ROYALE and VIVIR renew rivalry. The latter finished ahead of the Sean Tarry filly on debut and wasn't disgraced in a KZN feature thereafter, however, CRIMSON ROYAL has proven stamina over the distance. SOUL OF WIT (maturing nicely) and BRAVE ZNDAYA (won this track and trip last time) are not out of the reckoning. Debutante VIRGINIA is said to have ability - respect.

Watch out for: VIVIR (4)

12:15 - Roodepoort Metal Exchange Novice Plate (3-Year-Olds)

Both VICTOR FORTH and ARROWS OF DESIRE are only having their 3rd career starts and both will relish the longer distance. AFFRANCHI and LOUIS THE SEVENTH finished close together in their penultimate runs and either could have a say in the finish. MELCHIZEDEK and RUSSIAN BEAT come off maiden wins and could improve more.

Watch out for: VICTOR FORTH (6)

12:55 - Morne And Friends Maiden Plate (F & M)

FRANKLY has had a break after a few disappointing runs and could find true expectations. She should handle the extra but hasn't the best of draws. RHYME OR REASON has had her chances but rates a lively threat especially at this track. ELANGENI was reported something amiss last time but warrants respect on earlier form. Look for improvement from NANDI'S VISION and MILL CREEK.

Watch out for: FRANKLY (7)

Tricky. Johan Janse van Vuuren has 4 very useful runners in NEW PREDATOR, BRAZUCA, DOOSRA and IRISH PRIDE, however, all come of breaks and the money market needs to be watched closely. KINGS ARCHER is running well and shouldn't be far off. SPLENDID GARDEN finished ahead of SHUKAMISA last time but the latter never produced best form. EMILY JAY can never be ignored.

Top Tip: BRAZUCA (3)
Watch out for: DOOSRA (4)

14:15 - - Why Not Today Mr 74 Handicap

PSYCHIC never got into it last time but is better than that and could resume winning ways. QUERARI VIKING won't be troubled by the little extra and could get into the fight for honours. 10-year-old YER-MAAN is holding form and could get into the frame. BOSPHORUS has an obvious chance if reproduces his last effort. GREENWOOD DRIVE, MUTRIB (blinkers) and JUDD'S ROCKET can earn.

Top Tip: YER-MAAN (11)
Watch out for: PSYCHIC (7)

14:50 - Roodepoort Metal Exchange Mr 83 Handicap

Even though he gives start BOLD VIKING could find good acceleration now back over a mile and grab them late. NORDIC REBEL has won both starts over a straight mile and could record a hat-trick if equally effective around the turn. POST GRAD is best this distance and could get into the mix. FULL OF ATTITUDE hasn't been far back recently and could feature. Others looking to place.

Top Tip: BOLD VIKING (1)
Watch out for: NORDIC REBEL (2)

15:25 - Morne And Friends Fm 78 Handicap (F & M)

TIGERLACE recorded both wins over 1800m and despite a drop in trip could finish off strongly. She holds JAMRA on their meeting in May and should confirm. LADY NEGRA has ability but has often disappointed. If reproduces her last run should contest the finish. NOCEUR is versatile and cannot be discarded. EXCALIBUR'S RETURN could benefit with the blinkers on.

Top Tip: JAMRA (3)
Watch out for: TIGERLACE (2)

16:00 - XFacta Consulting Mr 84 Handicap

Wide open. WELL CONNECTED needed his last run and could go in. Lightly raced WILD CURVE comes off a rest and could follow up. St John Gray's 3 runners, LAKE KINNERET, CHAPEL JIVE and CERTIFIABLE are all capable off pulling it off. DAN THE LAD could flash up late if there is a strong early pace. DONNY G pulled up not striding out in 2 of his last 3 but if sound could win.

Watch out for: WILD CURVE (1)
