GG TIPS FOR GREYVILLE FRIDAY

Winning Form Best Bets

Race 2: MIESQUE SUNRISE(1)
Race 4: EDEN GARDENS GLITZ(8)
Race 5: NET WORK JET(3)
Race 10: ZARNITSA(6)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 1: EUPHORIC(7)
Jockey: S VEALE  - Trainer: D DRIER
An extremely competitive opening event, the formline of which could be worth following. The Drier camp is well-represented and the recently gelded EUPHORIC had a promising debut over this c & d before flopping behind winners over a mile late last campaign. The formline of both his starts have worked out well with the 3rd placed entrant of his debut showing, Lickerio winning twice subsequently whilst his latest conqueror Marchingontogether and runner-up Perpetual Flame also won their next starts

Race 3: ELUSIVE DIVA(2)
Jockey: A MARCUS - Trainer: B CRAWFORD
The Cape visitor ELUSIVE DIVA had a disappointing local debut on this surface but perhaps needed the run on her seasonal debut which was her first try under the lights. The 3rd placed entrant Josephine Baker boosted that formline with an impressive subsequent triumph and the daughter of Elusive Fort will strip fitter. She has done more than enough to warrant strong claims in this ordinary line-up and can make amends with Marcus retaining the ride

Race 4: STELVIO(3)
Jockey: S VEALE - Trainer: D DRIER
The lightly raced and promising STELVIO seems a versatile type who rather surprisingly escaped with just the minimum two pound penalty for her narrow defeat of subsequent winner O' Keeffe over ten furlongs last month and the daughter of Pathfork has huge claims of following up in this similar field. She is well drawn and should easily cope with the shorter distance

TOP BET FOR TODAY

Race 5: BELFRY(2)
Jockey: A  MARCUS - Trainer: S TARRY
BELFRY has been thereabouts since arriving in this province but the Tarry inmate undoubtedly should have gone closer but for traffic issues at a crucial stage of his last start at this venue. He should reverse the form with NET WORK JET who though has turned the corner in recent outings, has an awful polytrack record

VALUE BET FOR TODAY

Race 6: PEGGY'S DREAM(12)
Jockey: K SAKAYI - Trainer: P GADSBY
PEGGY'S DREAM has been comfortably beaten in recent efforts but the chestnut mare is fast reaching a competitive merit rating and she is weighted to turn the tables on stable companion EXPRESSO MARTINI (2.5kgs worse off on 28/09 c & d run) as well as IDEAL DUEL (3.5kgs worse off on 11/05). It is worth noting that her best recent performance came with this 2.5kgs claiming apprentice in the saddle
