12:20 PM - Smarkets Betting Exchange Novices' Hurdle

EARLOFTHECOTSWOLDS (second) probably would have won at Market Rasen last time but for some poor jumping, and is fancied to go one better with that experience under his belt. He clearly has a good engine and could strike for a trainer threatening to hit top gear after some recent successes. Lord Springfield has had a wind operation since he was last seen and could improve, while point scorer The Hollow Chap needed the run here last month and looks capable of shaping better this time.

Watch out for: LORD SPRINGFIELD (6)
212:50 PM - 50 Risk Free On Racing With Smarkets Novices' Handicap Chase

XPO UNIVERSEL has done it well over hurdles under this 7lb claimer the last twice and the switch to fences shouldn't deter him too much. The nine-year-old could defy a mark of 101 in this sphere and has been found another nice opening by Rebecca Menzies. Divine Port needs a market check after 244 days off the track on stable debut for Pauline Robson, while Ballasalla can take a big step forward from his course reappearance five weeks ago.

Watch out for: DIVINE PORT (1)
31:20 PM - Smarkets 'national Hunt' Novices' Hurdle

ONE FOR ROSIE looked a smart individual when winning on hurdling debut at the track last month and the son of Getaway looks more than capable of defying a winner's penalty with softer ground unlikely to pose any issues. First Account ran well when third to the progressive Al Dancer here over 2m1f in October and he can take a fair step forward from that effort now up in trip, while Captain Zebo is considered on his Wetherby success.

Top Tip: ONE FOR ROSIE (2)
Watch out for: FIRST ACCOUNT (4)
41:55 PM - Smarkets Chase (Novices' Limited Handicap)

LUCKOFTHEDRAW found the sharp nature of Aintree beyond him on his second start over fences after winning here over 2m on his chase debut, so the step up in trip should feasibly bring about improvement. Spider's Bite is well handicapped but needs to prove more streetwise in a finish having looked to throw away certain victory at Ascot last month, while Reverant Cust is considered after a good chase debut at Catterick 23 days ago.

Watch out for: SPIDER'S BITE (1)
52:25 PM - Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle

Aspen Colorado has impressively notched a course double over 2m4f and he warrants plenty of respect, despite a further 8lb rise, while Kris Spin will be hoping to continue where he left off last season, landing Fontwell and Kelso handicaps. The vote, however, goes to Irish raider NOT MANY LEFT. Jessica Harrington's inmate posted a number of solid efforts last term, including when runner-up at the Punchestown Festival, and he looks fairly treated for his handicap/English debut.

Top Tip: NOT MANY LEFT (3)
Watch out for: ASPEN COLORADO (4)
63:00 PM - Handicap Chase

There was lots to like about LOWANBEHOLD's third-placed effort over 3m at Ayr last month and, entitled to improve for that first outing since April, he should go close off a light weight. Lough Derg Farmer lines up off the same mark as when runner-up at Uttoxeter and he is likely to be in the shake-up again, while Nakadam cannot be ruled out either.

Watch out for: LOUGH DERG FARMER (3)
73:30 PM - the Super Price Sportsbook Mares' Standard Open NH Flat Race

Rosie And Millie has posted a couple of solid efforts in this sphere and sets a decent standard, but it might pay to side with NH debutant SHOCONA'S JOY. The Primary filly wasn't devoid of promise in two starts between the flags earlier this year and jockey bookings suggest that she is more fancied than stablemate Rising Blush. Stainsby Girl also warrants respect representing the Whillans family.

Top Tip: SHOCONA'S JOY (3)
Watch out for: ROSIE AND MILLIE (2)
