Race 1

Peter Muscutt for Brett Crawford

No 6 Paarl Rock over-raced first run back. She is well drawn and I am

trying Blinkers. She has a Quartet chance.

Nathan Kotzen

No 8 Songbird has been a disappointment but does show good work at

home. I am hoping she runs better this time trying Blinkers.

Race 2

Alistair Gordon

No 8 Daredevil Aviator disappointed before we tried Blinkers on him in

a Barrier trial. it is a strong maiden field but he should run a good


Paul Lafferty

No 10 Mokoko has done well so far. He would prefer further in time but

should run very well in this race. Definite first 3 chance.

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 11 The Master has a nice draw and is coming off a good last run. Go close

Race 3

Peter Muscutt for Brett Crawford

No 1 Elusive Diva has good gate-speed so could overcome her bad draw.

She does have the form to win.

Nathan Kotzen

No 2 Lilibet is backing back from a long break so is likely to need

the run. She can place

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 3 Crown Charka likes the Polytrack and is doing well so has a place chance.

Doug Campbell

No 12 Belazardo has been disappointing so far but I am hoping it was

the yielding going last time out that was a problem. She could prefer

the Polytrack.

Race 4

Dennis Bosch

No 3 Mighty Gemini is having his first run for me.

No 4 Born To Perform has had issues but is over them and is ready for

this race. He is a nice horse.

Race 5

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 6 Counter Fate likes the Polytrack. She could be looking for this

longer distance and is doing well at home.

Nathan Kotzen

No 7 Summer Day has an each-way chance and I think she will be in the first 3.

Dennis Bosch

No 9 Lady Lumiere could prefer this 1900m.

Doug Campbell

No 10 Hope For Millions : I am hoping for improvement and she has a

place chance.

Race 6

Dennis Bosch

No 1 Secret Dynasty is a nice horse but still a bit immature. This is

a tougher race but he should run well.

Karen Anthony

No 3 Rich Harvest is working well so should run well.

Kevin Wright for Alyson Wright

No 5 sea Sponge should run a good race.

No 7 Root Beer Has a place chance.

Doug Campbell

No 10 Shine Up is in a tough race but I am hopeful he can place.

No 12 Prince Of Promise has a place chance.

Race 7

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 2 Ideal Duel always gives of her best and is consistent. This is

against the boys this time but will run an honest race.

Alyson Wright

No 3 Storm Ruler will run well in a race like this.

No 5 Iknow is a difficult horse and we are just trying him over the 2000m.

Doug Campbell

No 11 Vallanaut ran well enough last time out. I think he is a big runner.

Race 8

Doug Campbell

No 1 Val La Ree disappointed last time out and did run badly on the

Poly but we couldn't find a race for her.

Dennis Bosch

No 4 Victory Trip has a heart of gold and will be trying her best once again.

Race 9

Karen Anthony

No 1 Big King is ready as always for the battle.

Dennis Bosch

No 2 Tiger's Bond won well last time out but this is tougher and he is

badly drawn,

No 4 Royal Rustler is back on the Poly and can run in the first 4.

No 7 Sand Path would want a bit further than this distance.

No 9 Shadow Catcher is his own worst enemy.

Doug Campbell

No 11 They Say is better over 1400m but does have a place chance.
