TRAINER COMMENTS FOR KENILWORTH WEDNESDAY

Race 1

Dan Katz

No 1 Famous Orator - Has been working well lately and can be competitive.

Glen Kotzen

No 7 Wood For The Trees - Tries blinkers and with one of the top work

riders aboard can be competitive.

Harold Crawford

No 2 Captain Carlos - His last two runs were good and he should go

close to winning here.

Vaughan Marshall

No 4 Gallagher - Is back over 1200 meters and should run a good race.

No 8 Rikers Island - Is back over 1200 meters and should run a good race

No 6 Spy - Is the best of my 3 runners and should give a very good

account of himself.

Race 2

Justin Snaith

No 1 Cyber Blossom - Nice type, has been on grass once and that was a

good gallop. Each-way chance.

Glen Kotzen

No 2 Duchessofcornwall - Quick but will probably be green

Candice Bass-Robinson

No 3 Miss Honey - Shows good ability at home. Unexpected first time out.

Paddy Kruyer

No 4 Mon Cherie - Shows nice work at home

Piet Botha

No 5 Rockachino - If not too green should run a good race

Piet Steyn

No 6 Watch Me Now - Will need the experience

No 7 What A Lover - Will need the experience

Race 3

Andries Steyn

No 4 Beau Blue - Very green, needs the run

Brett Crawford

No 6 Golden Mirage - Will need the run

Mike Stewart

No 7 Icon Princess - Nice filly, will need the run

Paddy Kruyer

No 2 Empress Of Russia - Shows some nice work and should be included in

quartets

Vaughan Marshall

No 3 Beholden - Tries blinkers, hoping to see improvement

Race 4

Glen Kotzen

No 4 Blush Scarlet - Was a little disappointing last time but she goes

around the turn and I expect her to run a better race.

No 5 Elusive Green - Is improving and she should be competitive in this

line-up.

No 9 Fat Lady Sings - Will be trying the blinkers and we looking for

some improvement from her.

Vaughan Marshall

No 6 Sierra Line - Ran an improved race last time. She should like

this trip and I

expect a decent run.

Race 5

Joe Ramsden

No 1 Ancestry - Only had one gallop but did good. Will do well

Justin Snaith

No 4 Mister Colin - Should need outing and further

Glen Kotzen

No 8 Quick Star - Is a smart horse. However he is out at the weights

with Priceless Ruler and also has a wide draw to overcome.

Harold Crawford

No 6 Spectra Force - His recent work has been a little below par but he

seldom runs a bad race and should not be overlooked.

Vaughan Marshall

No 9 Caesura - Returns from a break and should need this run

No 11 Sherwood Forest - Ran a good race out of maiden company and should

have a place chance.

Race 6

Brett Crawford

No 12 Harvest Wind - Will need the run

No 13 Para Handy - Will need the run

Vaughan Marshall

No 10 Red Eight - Is a bit of an in and out performer but he is very

well and should have a place chance.

Race 7

Paul Reeves

No 3 Nanna Anna - Will need the run

Paddy Kruyer

No 4 Velvet Dawn - Is better than her last run. She is back over 1000

meters and I am hoping for improvement.

Race 8

Dan Katz

No 3 Skye Lane - Is an improving filly and can once again be competitive.

Vaughan Marshall

No 2 Rock On Wood - Has run three good races in a row and should again be

in with a place chance.
