GG TIPS FOR FAIRVIEW

Winning Form Best Bets
Race 1: WILD MOVE(8)
Race 2: AFRICAN JAVA(11)
Race 3: DON'T STOP DANCING(1)
Race 4: BRING ME MORE(4)

Magic Tips Best Bets
TOP BET
Race 1: LINDEN ROCK(4)
Jockey: R Munger - Trainer: T Spies

The trio of raced juveniles finished close-up in their clash on debut behind Brandina over four furlongs and their experience should count for plenty. LINDEN ROCK caught the eye when he ran on strongly late in that event and this extra furlong gives him the edge

Race 5: CAPTAIN MAROONED(1)
Jockey: C Maujean- Trainer: Tara Laing

The top weight CAPTAIN MAROONED has kept his form well in far stronger company recently and reverting to the minimum trip is a huge plus for the son of Captain Al

Race 7: MADAME SPEAKER(10)
Jockey: G Cheyne - Trainer: A Greeff

The high quality 'local' MADAME SPEAKER's record speaks for itself and she still has plenty of scope for improvement. Of course she isn't favourably weighted on official ratings with the Cape visitor PLATINUM CLASS but the smart Greeff inmate is clearly still ahead of the handicapper and she should raise her game

Race 8: GUN HILL(6)

Jockey: R Munger- Trainer: Y Bremner

The likely strong tempo should ensure a true result in this low-key mile handicap where GUN HILL appears a progressive sort who will relish the fast gallop. The Marchfield gelding briefly lost his way before some encouraging recent efforts, most notably when he finished strongly to emerge victorious over the c & d at a slightly higher level last month. He was rather surprisingly upped just the minimum two pounds and clearly has more to offer

VALUE BET
Race 9: JUNGLE FAIRY(1)
Jockey: L Hewitson - Trainer: Y Bremner

JUNGLE FAIRY has some promising recent form and she is undefeated from two attempts over this trip. She found a late finish when only a short head adrift of Quakeshake (runs in race 3) over a mile last time out and this extra furlong on the galloping circuit will be right up her alley. She usually comes from off the speed so her wide draw isn't a major concern
