ATR TIPS FOR KENILWORTH

11:15 AM - itsarush.co.za Welcomes You Juvenile Plate

Intriguing juvenile contest. MINNESOTA DREAM impressed when winning on debut after a slow start and there will be more to come from him. GROUND CONTROL was fancied when 2nd on debut and with natural improvement will be competitive in receipt of 3kg. The betting should provide a guide to the chances of the newcomers. Pay careful attention to well-bred R3-million colt PINKERTON.

Top Tip: Minnesota Dream (1)
Watch out for: Capkuta (2)
2 11:50 AM - Tab Telebet 0861 000 822 Maiden Plate

Strong cases can be made for several of these but it may be worth following likely improver VENDEE GLOBE who attracted market support last time when returning from a rest and gelding. SALT and GOLD PACT have been finishing close up in recent starts and should have roles to play. IN FULL POWER and CHIEF MANYFEATHERS can get a look in too if building on improved recent displays.

Top Tip: Salt (1)
Watch out for: Gold Pact (2)
3 12:25 PM - tellytrack.com Maiden Plate

Tricky. FERGUS had excuses last time and is capable of faring better over this trip if having overcome his issue. MIDDLE WOOD has been running well from wide draws and should have more to give from a favourable gate. The same could be said of DHARMA who should also be competitive. LUXEMBURG was behind the latter last time but needed that outing so should pose more of a threat.

Top Tip: Fergus (1)
Watch out for: Dharma (2)
4 1:00 PM - Betting World 087 741 2777 Maiden Plate (F & M)

Competitive. DANGER ZONE improved to finish ahead of JE NE SAIS QUOI last time and will be competitive with further progress. The latter makes plenty appeal after 3 close-up finishes and should not be a maiden for much longer. CRIMEA must improve to reverse the form of an earlier meeting with those rivals but is bred do so over this trip. Respect DAY TRIP, MERKABA and MARY MOON

Top Tip: Danger Zone (1)
Watch out for: Je Ne Sais Quoi (2)
5 1:35 PM - Play Soccer 6, 10 And 13 Mr 80 Handicap

Good race. ST VLADIMIR was touched off by stablemate PERFECT SUMMER when meeting in the maidens and has improved to win both starts since. He will have more to offer but the latter is on the up too and is weighted confirm on 4kg better terms. STREETFIGHTING MAN and ANCESTRY are in good form so have claims, while BEN-HUR and IN THE JUNGLE are also capable of getting a look in.

Top Tip: Ben-hur (1)
Watch out for: Ancestry (2)
6 2:10 PM - Supabets 0861 76 22 37 Mr 80 Handicap

WAITING FOR RAIN was rewarded for consistency last time and should give another competitive account of himself despite a resultant penalty. NEXUS was well beaten by MAGIC MIKE in a maiden event over this trip but has improved since and can turn the tables on these terms. The latter, as well as SHERWOOD FOREST, should fare better at this level after contesting features recently.

Top Tip: Waiting For Rain (1)
Watch out for: Rock My Soul (2)
7 2:50 PM - interbet.co.za 0861 150 160 Mr 90 Handicap

BWANA has done little wrong and sets the standard here. He should acquit himself well again and can be expected to finish in the money. METORITE is capable over this trip and closely matched with the selection so should be competitive. WHAT A WINNER is useful but better over 1000m. CROWN AND COUNTRY, well-related MACHIAVELLI and highly rated CROWN TOWERS all have claims too.

Top Tip: Bwana (2)
Watch out for: Crown And Country (4)
8 3:25 PM - Next Meeting Durbanville 2 March 2019 Fm 80 Handicap (F & M)

GIMME LONDON has confirmed the promise of her debut win reverting to this trip and if building on her last start should feature prominently. SUNSHINE MINT wasn't disgraced on her comeback and is likely to improve, so can pose a threat. DURTY NELLY should also fare better back over this trip so warrants respect. FOURS A CROWD, HURRICANE SILVA and CAPTAIN'S CHOICE have claims.

Top Tip: Sunshine Mint (1)
Watch out for: Fours A Crowd (2)
