1:00 PM - Welcomes You Maiden Juvenile Plate (Fillies)

ALLMYLOVING and SEEMYVISION finished almost the same distance away from the winner in their respective debut runs but the former carried 2,5kg less. The amount of improvement could determine their performances. Many are sure to improve and there appears to be some promising first-timers - watch the money.

Top Tip: Allmyloving (1)
Watch out for: Gin Fizz (6)
2 1:30 PM - All To Come Assessment Plate

VONTREO wasn't disgraced in the Guineas when 5th behind National Park. He gives 2,5kg to filly GREENER PASTURES who has never been out the money. BIG VOICE JACK is running well and finished runner-up in his last 2. CONDOR GULCH has ability but may need the run and should prefer further. The remaining 2 runners make no appeal in this class.

Top Tip: Big Voice Jack (1)
Watch out for: Condor Gulch (2)
3 2:00 PM - Play Soccer 6, 10 And 13 Maiden Plate (F & M)

Tricky. ATREVETE ran on strongly on debut when close up in 4th place and will know more about it. Similarly, VARQUERA did well in 3rd on debut when reasonably fancied and will come on. More experienced HARTLEYFIVE (coupled with newcomer JER - watch!) disappointed last time but if not troubled by breathing could get into the shake-up. More could earn. Watch the first-timers.

Top Tip: Hartleyfive (1)
Watch out for: Kindavar (6)
4 2:35 PM - Tab Pays The Full Dividend, No Limits Mr 84 Handicap

Open. ORAVAR has ability but needs to settle. On their meeting in December OLD MAN TYME could have his measure but is drawn on the inside fence. The latter has a good stable back-up in CERTIFIABLE who should finish together with BASILIUS. Older runners TALKTOTHESTARS and GREASEPAINT are not out of it. PURPLE DIAMOND is better than his last run. More with claims.

Top Tip: Oravar (4)
Watch out for: Old Man Tyme (7)
5 3:10 PM - Join Us For The Joburg's Prawn Festival 30 March Pinnacle Stakes

CAPTAIN ALDO loves this course and distance and should contest the finish. He loves being up with the pace, however, TILBURY FORT has come well and runs fresh. He will be catching late. Stable companion CAPTAIN AND MASTER sports blinkers now and could go all the way. INFAMOUS FOX tries blinkers for the first time and shouldn't be ignored. WILL PAYS may not be at his best.

Top Tip: Will Pays (1)
Watch out for: Captain Aldo (2)
6 3:40 PM - Book For Classic Day 0116811508 Fm 87 Handicap (F & M)

REGAL GRADUATION beat GIMME HOPE JOHANNA by 1,8 lengths last time but looked to have plenty in hand. She should confirm. PERFECT TIGRESS wasn't disgraced in the Guineas last time and should get into the shake-up. STRAWBERRY PAVLOVA is never far back and should again be thereabouts. POOL PARTY, MRS O, MAZARI, JAMESON GIRL, MAR DEL SUR and INVINCIBLE LADY could pull it off.

Top Tip: Strawberry Pavlova (1)
Watch out for: Pool Party (2)
7 4:10 PM - Tommy Hotspur Handicap (Grade 3)

The Tommy Hotspur attracted a competitive field. RIVARINE found problems in his last run and should turn it around with REBEL'S CHAMP on 2kg better terms for 1,9 lengths. EXQUISITE TOUCH should be at peak fitness and 2,5kg better can see her reverse it with REBEL'S CHAMP. PRINCE OF KAHAL has improved since gelded. KZN raiders RED CHESTNUT ROAD and CHANTYMAN must be respected.

Top Tip: Rebel's Champ (1)
Watch out for: Exquisite Touch (2)
8 4:40 PM - Save The Date 4 May Gin & Roses Festival Assessment Plate

PROTEA PARADISE looks to have plenty of scope for improvement but with recent maiden winner INDY ICE meet up a couple of days earlier. Get the update. SAINTS ALIVE disappointed in her last 2 but is bred for the extra and must be respected. BANK ROBBER could be anything on a facile maiden win. On that he will see out the extra 200m. SENOR LIZARD is finding form again.

Top Tip: Senor Lizard (1)
Watch out for: Saints Alive (2)
9 5:10 PM - 0861 150 160 Maiden Plate

LASAIR races as a gelding for the first time after a rest and if ready could take it. IDEAL DAY improved in his 2nd start when tried over a mile and will come on. DRY YOUR EYES sports blinkers now and any improvement could see him win here. FLASH BURN, SIR GEOFFREY, SENIOR'S GUEST and BARISTA are all capable of getting into the mix.

Top Tip: Lasair (1)
Watch out for: Dry Your Eyes (2)
10 5:40 PM - Next Turffontein Racemeeting Saturday 23 February Maiden Plate (F & M)

MINONA improved after a rest and should be cherry-ripe now. She finished 4 lengths in front of BATED BREATH but the latter was finishing like a train. EVER FAIR has Lyle back aboard and should do a lot better. JIVE EXPRESS is looking for this and further and her debut over 1200m was excellent. Stable mates SUPER FINE and ANDIAMO could make the frame.

Top Tip: Minona (1)
Watch out for: Ever Fair (9)
