GG TIPS FOR SCOTTSVILLE

Winning Form Best Bets
Race 1: COMPASS FIRE(3)
Race 2: DEEP RIVER WOMAN(7)
Race 3: CANADIAN BOLT(1)
Race 4: ON THAT BOULEVARD(6)

Magic Tips Best Bets
Race 4: ON THAT BOULEVARD(6)
Jockey: L Hewitson - Trainer: A Rivalland

ON THAT BOULEVARD was rested for 11 weeks following his decent triumph over FILIPPO when heavily back- ed at the coast. Of course he finished 3rd behind ISHNANA after suffering a bump over this track & trip in his penultimate run and now meets that rival on 2.5kgs better terms.

Race 5: FARM YARD TRACTOR(3)
Jockey: A Marcus - Trainer: B Crawford

FARM YARD TRACTOR showed good improvement when tried over ground as he stayed on smartly for 3rd over shorter on this track two weeks ago. He finished exactly half a length in front of the next placed entrant KHEELAN DYNASTY but has more room for progress and could benefit with the aid of blinkers. The chestnut son of Marchfield should relish the extra ground.

Race 7: TRIBAL FUSION(2)
Jockey: A Marcus - Trainer: S Humby

The day's topliner is a highly competitive seven furlong Non-Black type contest which is blessed with real speed that will suit the top selection TRIBAL FUSION. The Trippi chestnut has ultra-consistent form and he faces recent conqueror MR ROY on 5kgs better terms for a three parts of a length c & d defeat. He has some work to do at the weights but top rider Marcus retains the mount and the pair should be heavily involved in the finish.

TOP BET FOR TODAY
Race 8: ISLA MORADA(1)
Jockey: S Veale - Trainer: P Gadsby

ISLA MORADA has progressed smartly with each start and she finished strongly for a close 4th over a mile on the polytrack four weeks ago. The 8th placed entrant Miesque Sunrise romped to victory next time out to boost the formline and this well-bred daughter of Master Of My Fate has plenty of scope for improvement.

VALUE BET FOR TODAY
Race 3: SAUVAGE(5)
Jockey: S Veale - Trainer: P Lafferty

The Lafferty yard holds a decent hand in this competitive six furlong maiden contest. SAUVAGE and SHADRACK were separated by a head in their recent clash over this c & d on soft ground with the former catching the eye with a late burst to record his career best effort on this track debut. That said, the latter was making his debut at long odds when he showed plenty of speed before staying on for 3rd in that open event, the formline of which could be worth following
