THEY CLAIM EATING THESE 2 ANIMALS PROTECTS AGAINST CORONAVIRUS!

Dog and cat meat sales have soared in Vietnam and Cambodia during the coronavirus pandemic, an animal charity has claimed.

Doctors have been telling people that their "natural" properties can ward off viruses, leading to a surge in demand, according to the animal welfare group FOUR PAWS.

An investigation has found that the market is so big that restaurants are even offering dog and cat dishes for takeaway via food delivery apps, the Sun reports.

It comes amid fears that the devastating coronavirus, which has now swept across the world, first infected humans at a live animal market in the city of Wuhan in China at the end of last year.
