Victoria Beckham has reversed her decision to furlough 30 employees at her fashion company after coming under immense criticism.

The entrepreneur, who has a combined fortune of £335 million with husband David, opted to use the government bail out scheme and use tax-payers' money to pay 80% of her staff's wages while they are at home.

However, Posh has now undergone a change of heart after being 'devastated' by the public reaction.

A spokeswoman for Victoria Beckham Ltd said the company had been 'working hard to protect its people while adjusting to the impact of Covid-19 and the Government lockdown'

They said: "Our decision to furlough a small number of our staff seemed the most appropriate option in keeping with many other businesses.
