BRITS ARE BANNED FROM VISITING THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES


The countries where Brits are currently banned from visiting

Spain, Greece and Cyprus are all currently off limits

Foreign holidays for Brits this summer are still uncertain as the rules still make it ill-advised for anyone to travel.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office advises against all non-essential travel for Brits and anyone returning to the country must self-isolate for 14 days.

On top of that, there are many counties across the world where Brits are currently banned.

So even though beaches and hotels are reopening, and flights are starting again, foreign travel is still not possible.

There are more than 20 countries where Brits are currently banned, according to The Mirror.

1 . Greece

Tourists from a number of countries were welcomed back on Monday, June 15 but Brits are banned until at least July 1 when the situation will be reviewed.

2 . Spain

Brits are banned until at least June 21 - when Spain's state of emergency ends.

3 . Argentina

Argentina’s borders are closed to foreign nationals and non-residents entering the country. Bar a few exceptions, all scheduled international flights have been suspended until 1 September.

4 . Australia

Australia’s borders are closed. Only Australian citizens, residents and immediate family members can travel to Australia.

5 . Colombia

Colombia’s land and sea borders are now closed. Airports are closed to international traffic.

6 . Denmark

Until further notice, the Danish border is closed to foreign nationals who do not have a "worthy purpose" for entering Denmark.

7 . El Salvador

The government of El Salvador has banned foreigners from entering the country.

El Salvador International Airport has suspended passenger flights until further notice, and will only receive air cargo and humanitarian flights in the meantime.

8 . Gabon

Land, sea and air borders are closed. All tourist visas for British nationals were suspended in March.

9 . Guatemala

Land, air and maritime borders are closed. Only national citizens, permanent residents and diplomats can enter the country.

10 . India

All land borders with Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and Nepal in East and North East India are closed

There's only a small list of exemptions for visas.

11 . Israel

Only citizens or residents of Israel can enter but limited exceptions do apply.

12 . Kuwait

The Kuwait Government is no longer allowing non-Kuwaitis to enter Kuwait.

Land borders with Iraq and Saudi Arabia have closed.

12 . Latvia

Only Latvian nationals and permanent residents can enter the country from abroad.

13 . Maldives

There is currently a ban on entry into Maldives of anyone who has left or transited the UK and other selected countries in the last 14 days.

14 . New Zealand

The New Zealand border is currently closed to almost all arrivals.

15 . Norway

Norwegian borders have been partially closed. Currently, non-residents are not allowed to enter the country.

16 . Oman

Until further notice, only Omani nationals are allowed to enter Oman.

17 . Peru

All borders are closed indefinitely.

18 . Philippines

The FCO states: "British nationals will no longer be able to receive a visa on arrival and will not be able to enter the Philippines until further notice.

"Foreign spouses and children travelling with a Filipino national and members of international organisations already accredited to the Philippines will be exempt from this restriction."

18 . Solomon Islands

All non-citizens of Solomon Islands are not permitted to enter until further notice.

19 . Slovakia

You must carry proof of a negative Covid-19 test and self-isolate for at least five days on arrival until you have a second negative test.

20 . United States

According to the FCO, it is not possible for many British nationals to enter the USA if they have been in the UK, Ireland, Schengen zone, Iran or China within the previous 14 days.

21 . Vietnam

Vietnam has temporarily banned entry into Vietnam for all foreign nationals, with very few exceptions for high-skilled workers.

22 . Cyprus

UK nationals are not permitted to enter the Republic of Cyprus for tourism while a state of emergency is in force.
